I can't wait to read this one, as much of it happens in my hometown of Los Angeles.
Cynthia Lennon (oddly enough) has given it high praise. Could be an anti-Yoko move on her part though...

I agree with you about Cynthia, cant blame if thats why shes done it. Speaking from a females point of view I would have done the same.

I'm planning on looking at May Pang's book, when I get the chance & it ought to be real good. I have seen lots of picture books with the Beatles & Lennon for a long time. This one should be just as interesting for fans like myself.

It's good enough to have. Some very interesting pictures in it and a new light on the socalled Lost Weekend. John's doesn't appear to be lost at all, in fact he's looking quite happy and relaxed on the pics.

John's doesn't appear to be lost at all, in fact he's looking quite happy and relaxed on the pics. For sure; and didn't he write "Surprise, Surprise" for May? Just like a willow tree, A breath of spring you see, And oh boy you don't know what she do to me, She makes me sweat and forget who I am, I need, need, need, need her. Well I was wondering how long this could go on, on and on, Well I thought I could never be surprised, But could it be that I bit my own tongue, Oh yeah, it's so hard to swallow when you're wrong. A bird of paradise, The sunrise in her eyes, God only knows such a sweet surprise, I was blind she blew my mind think that, I love, love, love, love, love her, I love her, I love her, I love her, I love her. Doesn't sound too depressed.

John seems to have entertained the thought that she was a witch. A good one, of course!

Such a wonderful treat to see John smiling with genuine joy in the pages of May's book...no forced smile, no anger in the eyes...he was happy. I love it. Jude
