Didn't we have someone on the forum going to one of the gigs. Wonder how it went. Someone else was going to have a run a listening to her LP's in order so how is that coming along. Yes that was me, it really was a fantastic performance and I am glad she asked the audience not to film the event, as all we would have seen would have been a sea of screens. It was like being at a gig in the 70's only the sound was much better, I have seen a few bands at Hammersmith and that would have to be the best. The merchandise being sold there was soon being put up on ebay afterwards as limited etc and people were getting crazy prices, so it was very good of Kate to start selling the merchandise on her site which killed this opportunist trade dead.

On a couple of nights they removed a few seats in the stalls to film the event, so a DVD will be coming out soon, can't wait to see it all again. The audience at the KB gig must have been the loudest I have ever experienced there was just one hell of an eruption when she came on stage. I must be lucky you know I managed to get tickets for Cream when they reformed for the Albert Hall gigs. Anyway this is my favourite review of KB it is just hilarious I promise it wasn't me. “Sweltering!” 3 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 September 2014 My husband and I went to see Kate Bush last night. First time we'd been to the venue. The seats we're comfy but tightly packed, and the man next to me insisted on sitting with his legs wide open and slumping over to my side, so I was literally pressed against him for most of the gig! As the night went on, the room got hotter and hotter, to the point where it was getting hard to enjoy the the concert due to being unbearably hot, and the sweat was pouring off people...nice!

25 years ago Kate released a CD box set with the full monty of her official albums , B sides 12 inch`s etc. To make the price not to deep for my pocket I thought I will get some money back from my Lps ( for albums were dying out ) So I decide to sell my albums . The Kick Inside was worn out and my Never Forever was signed so they were a no no . My mate gladly took the rest of them off my hands . 25 years later he gave them me back last weekend . Here are my original Kate albums .

That is fantastic and very kind of him. Oh and The Dreaming I was just thinking about that today and was wondering if that is her most difficult LP to get into.

Nice story Mr. K! Reminds me of the time I gave all my mono Beatles lps to my cousin since she was just getting into the Beatles and I had them all up to Sgt. Pepper in the stereo versions. She played them to death, but took very good care of them. About ten years later she gave them back because she had them all on CD now. I think the Mono's are more cherished by me now than the stereo versions. Alot of memories there so I know how you feel.

That is fantastic and very kind of him. Oh and The Dreaming I was just thinking about that today and was wondering if that is her most difficult LP to get into. He`s a good lad . The Dreaming ? Well I love it . ( I know , I would say that ) I`ll do a Bobber type Microscope on it Sat In Your Lap I think this song has got to be Kate`s bravest single release ever . A great all out bonkers stuff going on and has lots of Oh`s and Kate doing her top note screaming Some say Knowledge ha ha ho" Seems she`s lookin for a God and a Diploma on this one . You can see how the critics slagged this album then , but what did they know . There Goes A TennerAs the first track this has lots of Fairlights going on which I read that she was influenced by Peter (Godlike )Gabriel when she was helping out on backing Vocals on Peter Gabriel . Not hard to guess where Kate got the idea for this song . Watching old crime films . Pull Out The PinFairlights and helicopters and Kate deciding she loves life and that it`s her or him . Apparently it`s about Vietnam Suspended In Gaffa One of my fav`s on the album . Again it`s Kate lookin for something in very deep mud ? Love the lyrics With a camel Who's trying to get through it, Am I doing it? Can I have it all now? yep a Camel . Leave It OpenLots of craziness on this one I love it What she`s going on about I hav`nt got a clue but it doe`s nt matter . The Dreaming Brilliant song about Australia and how it`s not the best place for your no claims bonus ( and Kanga`s ) Night Of The SwallowThis is a spine chilling song and reminds me of early Kate . Lots of Irish influences on this one and was in fact released as a single in Ireland . All The Love Again not really got a clue what she`s going on about but it`s a great song . we get a choir boy and and a answer phone ? HoudiniIt`s about Houdini ! Brilliant song and great lyrics "With your spit still on my lips you hit the water !" ( Have I ever mentioned I`ve kissed Kate ?) Get Out Of My House Oh this one is a tune ! This one I guess give the critics the idea that Kate had lost the plot Where else do you hear someone going on like a donkey . Rating and a half .

After 12 pages of Kate I don't care if this was put up already! I just watched it again and it is such a great ending to her '79 concert I'm sure Mr.K won't mind. Watching Kate jump up and down is just phenomenal!!

Kate getting her Evening Standard award from Gandalph Wonderful . I`ve lost track of which Videos are on this very wonderful thread But I think this is a first . Mr Gilmour on Guitar
