Hello Sheepy . I`m a very big fan of Mr Burton . . I guess he had me hooked with Edward Scissorhands and I did enjoy Pee Wee Herman and of course the Brilliant Nightmare Before Christmas . But my fav of his which as a big Sci Fi fan and was already into the crazy films of Ed Wood is . Ed Wood . Depp is at his best in this film for me . Great cast , with the award wining perfromance of Martin Landau. It`s not a Biopic as such but it`s a joy to watch . If you hav`nt seen this you need to A.S.A.P Burton should have left Planet Of The Apes well alone though . I saw it at the Cinema and not seen it since , and I ;like Sci Fi . Saw Skyfall at the weekend . It was a good film ..... As a Bond film goe`s .

Betelgeuse is my fav Burton movie Edward Scissorhands ,Sleepy Hollow Ed wood all great films. But I agree with Kitey should of left Planet of the Apes well alone.Batman also for that matter. Rise of the planet of the apes showed him how to to do it as did the Christopher Nolan Trilogy of Batman movies .Looking forward to the Dark Knight Rises Blu ray release on Dec 3rd. Anyone going to see the hobbit can't wait for that

Mr kite will you be buying the Dark Knight Rises. Out on blu-ray today. I look forward to watching the trilogy again over the Christmas holidays. Perhaps another topic for all us film fans is what movies our we going to watch Over the festivities. What has everyone asked to be in their movie Christmas stocking. I've asked for Prometheus , The Amazing Spiderman & Avatar 3D bluray to name just three. Oh & I'll ask mrmustard to loan out The Wild Geese that he's just acquired on bluray.

Yes I have . I have Pre Ordered it at Blockbuster , I`m picking it up Friday . The Blue Ray`s a quite cheap at Blockies if you Pre Order ( 13.99.) Prometheus is a great Blue Ray to get , good choice , I duno if you have seen it or not , but your in for a treat . I am a big fan of the Alien films and a well worth buy is the Blue Ray Box set . Brilliant . I have seen The Amazing Spider Man. If your a comic fan , you will probably get it . The fight scenes are well done , it just slips when you get to the acting and plot . So er , yeh, it`s a up and down movie that one . Some Blue Ray`s I do reconmend bit . Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes Watchmen 2001 . A Space Odessey Terminator 3 , Rise Of The Machines . Sunshine . Star Trek ( the new one ) Pulp Fiction . And of course both Batman films . These films are well worth forking out for in Blue Ray . Went to see Sight Seers at weekend . Very enjoyable film . If you are into Mike Leigh films and like black humour , this is for you .

,Thanks for your input Kitey. They are all great blurays.Need to get Watchmen for sure. Interesting to see Zach Snyder directing Superman Man of Steel, can't wait for that. Sight Seers looks interesting.Watched The Thing prequel the other day really enjoyed it . Not a patch on the original of course. But enjoyable none the less. It's a good sympathetic prequel .Ill be watching the original in the next day or 2. Haven't heard what mrmustard has asked for movie wise this Christmas . Maybe Sherlock Holmes Games of Shadows?

Watchmen is a great film I`m also looking forward to Superman Also have Sucker Punch which is Snyders , well worth a watch Very clever how the Thing prequel is linked with the first . The axe in the wall etc etc . The commentry is quality on the First Thing ( Carpenter one ) I enjoy the extras just as much as the films I have a film question . ( you can`t google , I hope ) The film was based on a story written by an English woman , directed by an English man , starred several English actors and the also one was not credited at the begining only at the end . Filmed in Hollywood . Have a second clue if no one gets it . Karma for the answer
