As part of the 5th birthday celebrations of Cunard's flag ship - Queen Mary 2 will visit Liverpool on Tuesday October 20th as part of a UK tour.
QM2 will be in the city from from about 11.30am until about 11pm, with fireworks at 10.30pm.
Special welcome and farewell Mersey Ferry cruises are available for just £8 and £10 - to book visit www.merseyferries.co.uk (I have mine for both!) Having said that, simply to view from the waterfronts of Liverpool or Wirral is free! Be it Crosby, New Brighton, along the Wirral coastline or at the new Liverpool cruise liner terminal, make sure you catch a glimpse!
One of the great benefits of Liverpool as a port is that cruise liners such as this can sail right into the heart of the city centre, think Sydney of New York and you get the idea, something that most other ports in UK simply cannot do, like Glasgow or Newcastle.
Fiendish Thingy: Thanks Bobber. I'm good thanks. Quiet on here for the last few months. I see Al has gone all 'Facebook' and is attracting new members. No bad thing. Are you going to the annual Beatleweek in Liverpool this year? Not long now 10 weeks or so. See you there?

Bobber: Not sure. It's an expensive trip for me plus I'm starting a new job around that time.

Amadeus: Hey all. Not been frequenting here very much lately. Between burying people, helping sick people and feeling crap myself, Me and Mrs. A. have been weighed under. Hoping to get a bit more out of that rut so I can focus back on the fun things I used to focus
