It's crazy that Ringo hasn't been inducted into the RNRHOF yet as a solo artist like John, Paul & George. He deserves it more than any of the other artists who were inducted this year like Madonna. RS is one of the greatest rock drummers of all time, former member of the greatest band that has ever lived & a great solo artist in his own right. I believe some in the music industry think he's a joke these days sadly.

I don't know who else got in this year, but like her or not, I think Madonna brute forced her way into the music scene and kept herself pretty much near the top for 2 decades or so, she deserves to get in.
I'd like to see Ringo get in, and I think he has the credentials. What other weak solo acts have gotten in?

Regardless of who he is, I don't think he's earned a place on the strength of his solo career.

I also agree. I think he is getting more into the scene of modern culture again so I think if he does get in it will be here very soon.

I think people don't see him as a serious musician, like they see Paul, George, and John. Which is sad, because he's not only a great singer and songwriter and drummer, he also is a great live act!
Ringo's career has always been spotty, but he's had a fair share of hits.
I think he definitely needs to be inducted!

think we've more chance of the Monkees getting inducted then Ringo as a solo artist.
Although i think Rolling Stone does at least acknowledge that Ringo's solo output exists so there is a chance....

Which is sad, because he's not only a great singer and songwriter and drummer, he also is a great live act! He's not a great singer or a great songwriter. How many of those hits did he write? This is my main issue with Ringo getting in as a solo effort. Love the guy and his output, but he had a lot of help along the way. He might someday but theres a ton (and I mean a ton) of artists that need to get in before he does.
