G,day fellow Beatle ,eads !! As iv,e just started getting in to collecting unofficial releases which in my case are mainly concert recordings, both on cd and dvd , i was hoping some one might enlighten me as to if the studio outtakes are available for each separate album ie AHDN on cd with only outtakes from the album of the same name . I ask because this can be an expensive past time chasing all the available outtakes from a particular album from a number of different cd releases ie the " Alternate series " wich include BBC recordings etc which i all ready have in my collection !! Best wishes to all ( won,t be long now ,Liverpool !! here we come !!)

Look for the Purple Chick " Deluxe" series of internet only releases that compile every mono and stereo recording along with every available outtake and alternate mix for each specific album. They've also speed corrected tracks where necessary. For newbies it's highly recommended and easy to acquire via trades and downloads from most torrent sites. Good luck! Regards, Beatle Bob

Is the Purple Chick A/B Road series one to get or one to avoid?
I have a few collections of Let It Be outtakes (River Rhine Tapes, Glyn Johns Get Back etc) - do I really need 83 discs, or can I make do with the compliations of the best bits?
I would imagine that the A/B Road set could be difficult listening for the most part.
