To answer an earlier question, Apple Corps was indeed the 'holding company' of various Apple enterprises, inc: Apple Records; Apple Publishing; Apple Electronics; Apple Retail and Apple Films.
There WAS going to be an Apple School, where all employees children could receive a 'different' education, but that was another idea that fizzled out.
The only outlet that seemed to make any money was Apple Records, mainly via Mary Hopkin and Badfinger - but others first got their break at Apple, inc James Taylor and Hot Chocolate.
Allen Klein seemed to appear JUST as Apple was sorting itself out - but then Klein effectively squashed everything, in his attempt to handle The Beatles account. Ironic that he took over when the band were splitting.....
There are some US only and UK only Apple records releases, which are worth looking for. The 'Holy Grail' is the UK only Apple 8 'King of Fuh' by BRUTE FORCE.
When I interviewed 'BRUTE' for my Radio Show, he told me that about 2,000 were made. It took me 30+ years to finally own a copy, and I'm looking for another now!
