Hi, I'm new here. Hopefully this is the right place in the forum to ask this! Does anyone know of any sites where you can request unreleased / commercially unavailable beatles songs? I got into the beatles in my late teens (early - mid 90's) and managed to get hold of some bootleg albums (i.e. Anthology Plus amongst others - can remember a great alternate version of Magical Mystery Tour and the full length Dig It, Commonwealth Song, Child of Nature etc). Over the years I've some how managed to lose them and I would love to replace these tracks. Obviously I'm not asking about songs that are commercially available / looking to down load anything illegal, just any of the unreleased stuff. I hope it's ok by the MODs to ask about this sort of thing, if not I apologise in advance and feel free to delete this post! Thanks! Thanks bobber - that's great!

Hi Darklife, welcome. Nice to see a few new members in the last couple of days.
Please visit the blog, you'll find plenty to enjoy. I recommend the Purple Chick series, you'll probably find most of the tracks you miss on them.
If you have any questions, please ask away.

With the stereo and mono versions if a single was released before the album, and was not included on the album, then it's A and B sides are placed at the beginning. If a single was recorded after the album but not part of the next albums' sessions, then it's placed at the end.
For example: With The Beatles starts with From Me To You, Thank You Girl, She Loves You, and I’ll Get You. None of these songs being part of the Please Please Me sessions. And the Long Tall Sally EP being placed at the end of A Hard Day's Night.
The actual albums mono/stereo, are all from Dr. Ebbett's 'needle drops'. The outtakes are taken from various different sources - whichever is considered the best quality.
By the way, the Ebbett's mono Red Wax stuff that I've started posting are not the same as the Purple Chick versions.
