That's right. Close To The Edge is sooooo weak! (man), 'cos you can't sing it around the campfire.

That's right. Close To The Edge is sooooo weak! (man), 'cos you can't sing it around the campfire. I saw Jon Anderson on a solo acoustic tour a few years back. He managed to pull off a version of Close To The Edge just on acoustic guitar.

Hah! That would be cool. And probably better than hearing Tiny Tim sing it with YES on this tour.

Well . I disagree with you there Amadeus . I was`nt there but I have to guess most of the Pepper songs started out as acoustic songs . Look at Strawberry Fields Demo`s on Anthology . Lennon and a Guitar . Day In the life ? Acoustic and a piano .
This is`nt a bad attempt .
Dark Side ?

damn! Now what am I going to do with this book of 101 campfire favorites? Throw it in the campfire. And buy 101 Prog Campfire favorites. "Play 'Brain Salad Surgery' around the campfire. You'll be the zaniest kid in the park!"
